Schwarzholz near Stendal . “Kappenfest”, Joy reigns
This picture of a couple was produced at the “Kappenfest” in Schwarzholz on 11/11.
This is located at the Wische near Stendal. For practical training we were underway with a bike there in those days. And we neither got to Berlin nor to Hamburg after the opening of the border. Just like the people on the “Kappenfest”. My ‘Lomografie’ is a snapshot.
The two looked into my eyes. The camera had a lower position.
That way they looked into an uncertain and perhaps happy future …….

Dieses Bild von einem Paar entstand auf dem Kappenfest am 11.11.1989 in Schwarzholz, einem Dorf in der Wische, nahe Stendal. Wir waren in diesen Tagen mit dem Fahrrad im Rahmen eines Praktikums unterwegs. Und kamen nach der Grenzöffnung weder nach Berlin, noch nach Hamburg. Genau wie die Leute auf dem Kappenfest.
Meine ‚Lomografie‘ ist ein Schnappschuss. Die beiden schauen mir in die Augen.
Die Kamera hat einen tieferen Standpunkt.
So blicken sie in eine unbestimmte und vielleicht glückliche Zukunft.…….
