MÏLLTÜTEN ist eine aus 1000 (spanisch: mil) Mülltüten von Architekturstudenten der Universidad de Talca in Chile realisierte Konstruktion.
Ziel war ein Objekt zu schaffen, das sich durch Schönheit und einem gewissen Maß an Wandlungsfähigkeit auszeichnet, speziell wenn dem Wind ausgesetzt – und dabei aus etwas so banalem wie Mülltüten besteht.
Prof. Manuel Cuadra: „Den Studenten gefiel die Vorstellung einer chilenischen Mülltüte, die in Deutschland Tänzerin werden wollte: auf ihrem Weg dorthin blickt sie aus dem Flieger … auf eine Mülldeponie.“
